Internet dating third date

We went food shopping together at the Pentagon City Costco in Virginia, and that always took up half the day since it was an exhausting three State shopping trip driving the food back to DC and Maryland. When it got rainy and then snowy hauling all that food around, it was definitely an early test of our patience with each other.

I'd never used that feature, but I figured I might as well give it a try.

:-) We went on a lot of different dates in the beginning, and after about the tenth date around the second month, we decided to make it official – like Facebook official.

Some of the most memorable dates we had early on were: Dates from left to right: Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington, DC, Dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Maze in New York City, Attending a taping of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, National Portrait Gallery, Maroon 5 concert, First Trip together at Atlantic City during holiday break Photos from left to right: Group mustache photo at Ocean City, John's 30th birthday at Banana Café, Dim Sum in NYC with parents, Japanese dinner at Tsunami Sushi, 2014 Halloween Party, masquerade ball, Medieval Times, Puerto Rico vacation, golf at Top Golf- Take one date at a time.

While I was single in New York, the city of options, I found myself and a lot of my friends just exploring as many options as we could.

There were a lot of first dates but not as many third dates.

I made this mistake early on and now understand why a few girls, after several emails, would ask direct questions like “Is there anything else you would like me to answer? There are times where you will feel like you are communicating with a “great catch” only to realize what a mistake that was 60 seconds into the first date.

It is important to meet early on so less time is spent talking to the wrong person and more time is spent trying to find the right one. The first date should be planned not long after communication has begun.

I felt like I was never meeting people I really, really liked. Maybe I was kind of shitty and my dating strategy was kind of shitty, too?

At a certain point I decided to change my dating strategy as a personal experiment.

I would invest more in people and spend more time with one person.

Rather than go on four different dates, what if I went on four dates with one person?

It is personal preference on how long to wait but there are very few reasons to delay.
